Description

Build confidence, creativity, and maths skills together!
Join our Family Maths with building blocks course — fun, hands‑on activities that turn everyday maths into play. Perfect for boosting skills, curiosity, and family time… one brick at a time! Children will join at the end of the school day. Each family will receive a complimentary Building block set on completion of the course.  

Course aim
Find out how children are taught in schools and support your child’s developing maths skills.

Course Outcomes
Find out how children learn Maths in school. Find out how to use everyday activities to help your children learn at home. Increase confidence in your own Maths skills. Enjoy learning in a friendly, confidence building group environment

How will the course be taught?
Weekly sessions in a small group will include lots of practical elements and help you progress at your own level. If this is an online course, please check the email confirmation for the link to join your Google Classroom. This information is also on ‘My Account’ when you are logged in to the Adult Learning website.

Could I gain a Certificate?
Following this course you will have the opportunity to join a Functional Skills maths course to gain a qualification up to Level 2

What do I need to bring \ have ready?
You may wish to bring your own pen and notepad. For online courses you will need a stable internet connection plus a gmail address and password.
