Description

Discover the joy of creative stitching in this fun, hands-on crazy patchwork workshop! Neighbourhood Learning Programme
These free courses are based in local neighbourhoods in order for local people to have a go at learning something new at a venue close to where they live. The courses give learners the opportunity to make new friends, develop new skills and find out what other learning opportunities are available. The classes are taught by experienced tutors and most importantly learning will be fun.

Course aim
You will find out the basics of crazy patchwork, using new or recycled fabrics. All materials are supplied. On successful completion of the course you will be able to keep what you make.

Course Outcomes
a) Find out about the basics of crazy patchwork b) Be able to cut out the pieces and sew together to make a small item c) Understand how using recycled materials saves money and reduces waste d) Know what learning opportunities are available in your community

What do I need to bring / have ready?
A pen and notebook may be useful if you would like to make notes. You should bring reading glasses if you require them as there will be some paperwork to complete.
