Description

Discover the calming power of creativity in this gentle Mindfulness and Watercolours course. Explore simple watercolour techniques while learning how art can support relaxation, focus, and emotional wellbeing. Each session blends mindfulness practices such as breathwork, grounding, and present moment awareness, with accessible watercolour exercises designed to help you slow down, observe, and enjoy the process of making art. You'll experiment with washes, blending, colour mixing, mark-making, and mindful sketching, gradually building skills and confidence in a supportive environment. This course is perfect for anyone looking to reduce stress and make time for self-care, connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming space and develop a mindful art practice they can continue at home. No artistic or mindfulness experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.  

Course aim
To gain ideas to help support my child’s learning. This course is suitable for all levels of crafting.

Course Outcomes
To find out how to make a range of crafts. To make items that you could use to support and develop children’s learning. To find out how to use everyday activities to help children learn at home. Gain new skills, knowledge and confidence in a positive learning environment.

The course will be taught with lots of practical elements including group, pair and individual work. What do I need to bring/ have ready?
No resources are needed, however you may wish to have a pen and notepad. If this is an online course, a laptop, PC or tablet and a stable internet connection will be needed.
