Description

First Aid is life-saving. During this course you will begin to develop the knowledge, skills and, just as important, the confidence to take those all important initial steps in a first aid incident.

Course aim
First Aid is life-saving. Learn how to give Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, deal with an unconscious breathing casualty and a choking adult - these being the main life savers that everyone should know.

Course outcomes
a) Demonstrate the correct positioning for the recovery position b) Perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) c) State how to deal with bleeding, choking and heart attack

How will the course be taught?
Simple explanation and demonstration followed by practice.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Wear comfortable warm clothing. Notepad and pen. No lipstick to be worn. Water to drink if required.
