Description

This beginner level course focuses on speaking and listening. You will start to gain confidence in using the language in everyday situations. No previous knowledge is required.  

Course aim
This course is an introduction to the culture and language which includes basic vocabulary and sentences to introduce yourself and others, ask questions and speak about everyday life and some social activities.

Course outcomes
Use basic vocabulary and sentences e.g. greetings, introducing yourself and family Create a simple conversation and write basic information about family,yourself, (ordering a coffee, snacks, etc) Listen and comprehend short sentences and information and be able to reply in simple sentences Demonstrate an appreciation of some of the culture and customs where the language is spoken

Pen and paper, a small dictionary if have already. Handouts will be shared via email or online.
