Description

This advanced conversation course could be right for you if you already have higher level skills and can talk about topics in a wide range of situations. You will already have completed at least three years study of the language.  

Course description
To develop and improve existing knowledge of the language by acquiring conversational skills, techniques and etiquette.

Course outcomes
a) Demonstrate an understanding and evaluate what has been said b) Reply confidently and construct conversational links c) Converse using different tenses d) Demonstrate an appreciation of the customs and culture of countries where the language is spoken

How will the course be taught?
A communicative approach. All four skills (speaking, reading, listening & writing) are practised, with the main emphasis on speaking. Learners engage in interactive language activities participating in group & pair work.

Could I gain a certificate?
You need a recent GCSE (grade A* - B) or equivalent knowledge of the language (Year 3 level).

What do I need to bring?
A dictionary, writing materials.
