Description

Basic IT Skills are free 6 week, classroom-based courses that support you to gain knowledge and confidence in digital skills. This course is suitable for beginners. You will learn to develop your digital skills with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, find out how to use email safely and effectively, and gain new skills, knowledge and confidence in a positive learning environment.

What will I learn?
You will gain knowledge and confidence in digital skills, develop your digital skills with emails, internet searching, word processing and online form filling and find out how to use email safely and effectively. You will also gain new skills, knowledge and confidence in a positive learning environment.

What will I need to take part?
All equipment will be provided; however, it is recommended that you bring a pen and paper to make any notes that you may find useful in the future. If this is an online course, please check the email confirmation for the link to join your Google Classroom.
