UKSPF aims to level up the whole of the UK by building pride in place, supporting local businesses and people, and skills.

Course aim
UKSPF aims to level up the whole of the UK by building pride in place, supporting local businesses and people, and skills. You will explore the maths knowledge and skills to be able to effectively manage your household accounts. The course also aims to develop your confidence when working with numbers and money allowing you to more effectively plan your household budget. You will also develop your confidence and skills working within a selection of Mathematical topics relevant to this course including Fractions, percentages, four operations and budgeting.

How will the course be taught?
This course is delivered in a face to face setting. This course is a FREE course funded by UKSPF which is designed to develop confidence and skills in adults and learners.

What will i need to take part?
You may choose to bring a notepad and pen to record notes if you would like.

Where can it lead to?
Feeling confident with your academic skills and knowledge is important in many aspects of life including many work-related jobs and communication. Upon completing this course, you will have taken the first step towards a qualification and can lead to further opportunities including applying for a new job, improving your career prospects, supporting children at home or improving your communication skills to improve your home life. By attending this course, you may also find that you are able to progress onto other qualifications including Functional Skills where you could achieve a Level 2 qualification.
