Description

Learn and share experience of parenting a neurodiverse child, the path to diagnosis and understand school and county support for neurodiverse children - all in a safe, small group.  

Course aim
To show how children learn English at school and how to support my children's learning at home. The course is for learners who use English as a second language.

Course Outcomes
Find out how children learn English at school. Find out information about the English education system. Find out how playing games with my child can help develop my child's English Language skills. Gain new skills, knowledge and confidence in a positive learning environment.

How will the course be taught?
Resources for each session will be available on Classroom and include lots of practical elements. You will get more from the course if you expect to do some practice between sessions. If this is an online course, please check the email confirmation for the link to join your Google Classroom. What do I need to bring / have ready?
All resources will be on Google Classroom, but please to have a pen and notepad ready to make notes. In face-to-face sessions, laptops or tablets will be provided for you to use. If this is an online course, a laptop, PC or tablet and a stable internet connection will be needed.
