Course aim
Perfect course for beginners. Learn to communicate simply in situations you will encounter- such as shopping, travel and eating out - in countries where the language is spoken.

Course outcomes
a) Demonstrate basic pronunciation b) Recall basic social phrases c) Demonstrate an understanding of simple spoken language d) Use basic vocabulary in some everyday situations e) Show an appreciation of some of the customs and culture of the countries where the language is spoken

How will the course be taught?
A communicative approach. All four skills (speaking, reading, listening & writing) are practised, with the main emphasis on speaking. Learners engage in interactive language activities participating in group & pair work. Learners will also be offered guidance in self-study and set optional homework tasks. The course will be taught online via zoom and will be a live interactive class Joining instructions along with unique log in for the session will be emailed to you by our support services team prior to the course start date so please check your email address prior to the class. To take part in the course learners will need: A computer, laptop, phone or tablet connected to the internet and able to view a live video stream.

Could I gain a certificate?
No, the course is aimed at a wide range of learners with general interest in the language and no prior knowledge of the language is required as the course is for complete beginners.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Writing materials, small dictionary. You may need to buy a course book, the tutor will advise you.
