Our free employability courses are for individuals who: - live in North and West Northamptonshire, aged 19 and over - want to improve their employability skills or progress in current employment or set up own business

Course aim
The purpose of this course it to enable adults who speak English as a Second Language to progress into employment, progress in current employment or set up own business. By addressing your linguistic needs, we aim to empower you to contribute effectively to the UK workforce.

Course outcomes
Identify 3 personal qualities relevant to your work life. Create up to date CV. Practise job interviews. Name 3 rights and resposnibilities you have in a work place.

How will the course be taught?
Courses will be delivered online or face to face, depending on which ESOL group you attended last term.

Could I gain a certificate?
This course is non accredited but you will receive a certificate of attendance from Northamptonshire Adult Learning.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Notepad and pen. Every group will also have a dedicated Google Classroom where all lesson resources will be available to you. Your tutor will tell you how to access it.
