Description

To enable you to consolidate your basic knowledge of the language, gain some confidence in speaking and extend vocabulary to be able to move to year 2 part 1. Topics could include emergencies and clothes shopping for example.  

Course aim
To enable you to consolidate your basic knowledge of the language, gain some confidence in speaking and extend vocabulary to be able to move to year 2 part 1. Topics could include emergencies and clothes shopping for example.

Course Outcomes
a) demonstrate accurate pronunciation in basic sentences b) demonstrate an understanding of simple spoken language c) communicate slowly in basic everyday situations d) use longer basic sentences on topics covered e) show an appreciation of some of the customs and culture of the countries where the language is spoken

How will the course be taught?
The course will be taught online via Zoom and will be a live interactive class Joining instructions along with unique log in for the session will be emailed to you by our support services team prior to the course start date so please check your email address prior to the class. To take part in the course learners will need: A computer, laptop, phone or tablet connected to the internet and able to view a live video stream.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
We also recommend that you have a pen and notepad to hand during the sessions.
