Description

To learn how to use a DSLR or Bridge camera in aperture priority and shutter priority and to use histograms to check exposure and explore composition and flash compensation.

To learn how to use a DSLR or Bridge camera in aperture priority and shutter priority and to use histograms to check exposure and explore composition and flash compensation.

Course Outcomes
a) Use aperture priority and shutter priority b) Use histogram to gain correct exposure c) Compose a selection of images and present them using current technology d) Use flash with manual controls e) Use a digital camera to capture subjects f) Identify good use of composition, context and content g) Record a range of subjects

How will the course be taught?
Tutor demonstrations and practical activities with critique of images in a group and individual support. You will complete an individual project with one to one support.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
DSLR/BRIDGE Camera, manuals, leads. (not suitable for compact cameras)
