Description

Provide a foundation to build upon in your own time so that you are able to improve your technical skills and theoretical knowledge in a practical application. Most of all, expect to have fun!  

Course aim
To enable you to take a guitar and play a number of simple tunes of your choice and have fun and playing with the group in the sessions.

Course Outcomes
a) Play common major, minor and dominant chords b) Play tunes as a solo and as a group c) Play additional chords and songs d) Read chord diagrams and charts

How will the course be taught?
Demonstration, group work, individual practical participation, theoretical work, individual support and handouts.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Acoustic box guitar, a set of strings, plectrum, tuner Pen & paper to make notes.
