Course aim
To create a range of different floral designs and styles, using a mix of textured foliage from the garden, considering the elements and principles of design, without the use of floral foam.

Course Outcomes
a) Produce three different styles of floral design. b) Create a design incorporating spring plants c) Cost an arrangement for a client c) Make a seasonal door wreath d) Create a presentation bouquet

How will the course be taught?
Hands on practical, plus one to one support, handouts and demonstrations

What do i need to bring/have ready?
Creating a front facing arrangement. Bring a waterproof plant pot or container. Different types of contrasting foliages, long, straight stems if possible. Couple of bunches of flowers from your local supermarket or florist shop. Suggestions, Spray Chrysanthemum, Alstroemeria, Roses, Carnations etc. Strong scissors / secateurs. On some weeks there may be an optional cost between £4 - £10 for materials.
