Description

To provide basic first aid skills to meet HSE requirements for employers.  

Course aim
To gain the Emergency First Aid at work 3 qualification.

Course outcomes
a) Understand the roles and responsibilities of the First Aider b) Dealing with emergencies for adults c) Recognise the presence of sudden illness in adults and provide first aid d) Recognise chronic medical conditions and provide first aid

How will the course be taught?
Demonstration, participation course manual, questioning continuous assessment of practice and assessment of knowledge. Multiple course question exam Small first aid kit will be provided free of charge

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Please bring photographic ID. wear comfortable clothing. Pen and notepad. Please bring a packed lunch and drink. No lipstick to be worn.
