Description

To develop drawing and painting skills and experiment with different media and styles.  

Course Aim
To develop drawing and painting skills and experiment with different media and styles.

Course Outcomes
A) Use and experiment with a range of media creating several pieces of art work B) Use a number of drawing and painting techniques in your work C) Research artists to develop your own ideas and style D) Produce drawings and paintings based on observation E) Complete at least two life drawing studies from a nude model

How will the course be taught?
Practical classes with demonstrations, one to one tuition and advice, group discussion and analysis of other artists work. There will also be a life model present for the last two weeks of the course.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
Drawing paper/pad, drawing pencils and a rubber for your first session.
