Description

The aim of this course is to build on the part 1 BSL course. If you have not completed part 1 or have no basic knowledge of BSL such as fingerspelling etc., please contact the office to enquire about a part 1 or introduction course.
We will expand the vocabulary and conversations to include life outside the home such as at work, with friends, shopping etc. We will explore more on Deaf awareness and understand about the issues that Deaf and hard of hearing people face every day.

1. To have simple conversations in Sign Language on a given range of topics to include life outside the home. 2. To use BSL structure in some communication 2. To have an awareness about the issues facing Deaf and hard of hearing people every day

Face to face.

A certificate of attendance can be awarded upon completion.

What do I need to bring?
Pen and paper, a small dictionary if have already. Lets Sign Pocket Dictionary by Cath Smith. Handouts will be shared via email.
